Competition heats up as prizemoney doubles

BASKETBALL Fiji has increased its National Easter Basketball Club Championship prizemoney to further heighten the intensit of the competition.

Last year, the winners walked away with $1000 each but this has been doubled with the men's and women's champs pocketing $2000 each in two weeks time .

Fiji FA receives record transfer applications

THE Fiji Football Association received a record of more than 250 transfer applications for the first transfer window of the season which closed less than a fortnight ago.

Premier division team Lami alarmingly topped the list with 43 applications.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar said they were still trying to finalise some of the transfers.
